DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team finishes the non-conference portion of the 2025 slate by welcoming Akron to Baujan Field on Friday night at 7 p.m. The Flyers will honor 10 senior student-athletes prior to the game.

Dayton (2-3-2) is looking to win its first match of the season at Baujan Field on Friday night. Senior keeper
Batoul Reda has 32 saves on the season, her most through seven games in her career. The Dearborn, Mich. native has an .821 save percentage on the season. Sophomore
Liv Grenda leads the team in points with three (1 goal, 1 assist), while redshirt sophomore

SCOUTING AKRON
The Zips (3-1-1) are off to a hot start in 2025, winning each of their last two matches over Southern Indiana (5-3) and Green Bay (2-0). Addison Hall and Emma King lead Akron with five points, each scoring two goals and adding an assist. Fineen Cregan has four points thanks to a goal and two assists. The Zips are averaging 1.60 goals scored per game and while allowing 1.20.
SERIES STUFF
Dayton and Akron have played one another five times in program history, with the Flyers winning all five of those meetings. The Flyers traveled to the Rubber City to play the Zips in 2023, coming away with a 5-2 win. UD scored five unanswered goals, with current senior
Karli Ferguson scoring her second career goal in the victory.

• Dayton was shut out for the fourth time this season at Louisville on Sunday, falling 2-0 to the Cardinals.

• The Flyers begin Atlantic 10 action next week at La Salle and look to continue their recent run of success in conference play.
• UD has won 22 matches in A-10 play and posted a win percentage of .817 over the last three seasons.
• Dayton scored 18 goals and totaled 52 points in 10 conference games last season, while the defense allowed just six goals and posted six shutouts.
