DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team hosts its first Atlantic 10 match of the season on Thursday, Sept. 25, welcoming Loyola Chicago to Baujan Field for a 7 p.m. match.
ABOUT DAYTON
Dayton (4-3-2) comes into the week having won two consecutive matches and posting shutouts in four of its last six matches. The Flyers opened Atlantic 10 action with a road victory on Saturday, topping La Salle 2-0.

Batoul Reda and the UD defense posted their sixth shutout of the campaign.
SCOUTING LOYOLA
The Ramblers (6-1-2) have been the A-10's most dominant defense, allowing just three goals all season. Zoe Hevey has been a one-woman wrecking crew on offense, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists for nine total points. Molly Pistorious has also netted a pair of goals. Keeper Allison Deardorff ranks ninth in the country and leads the Atlantic 10 in goals against average (.333).
SERIES STUFF
The Flyers have a decisive advantage over the Ramblers in the all-time series, owning an 8-1-0 mark all-time. Loyola won for the first time in the series in 2024, taking down Dayton 1-0 in Chicago. Jaimee Cibulka found the back of the net in the 68th minute to lead the Ramblers to victory.

SCHORK TABBED A-10 ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
• Dayton freshman Caroilne Schork was named the Atlantic 10's Rookie of the Week on Monday, Sept. 22.
• The Medina, Ohio native scored her first career goal in the Flyers' road win over La Salle to kick off A-10 play, finding the back of the net off a perfect feed from
Karli Ferguson, giving Dayton a 2-0 advantage in the 82nd minute.
• The rookie has played in all nine matches this season, averaging 34.3 minutes per game.
RAIMONDI STRIKES AGAIN
• Senior defender
Ella Raimondi made it two consecutive matches with a goal after finding the back of the net against La Salle on Saturday.
• Raimondi put UD on the board in the 34th minute as the senior headed in a beautiful feed from fellow senior
Kyra Karfonta to put the Flyers ahead 1-0.
