DAYTON - University of Dayton track and field will send its throwers back to Indianapolis this weekend for the Crossroads of America Invitational at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The throws team makes their return to the Fairgrounds to compete in the weight throw on Friday and the shot put on Saturday.
START TIME
- Friday: Weight throw begins at 12:15 p.m.
- Saturday: Shot put will begin at 9:45 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Flyers competed as a full team in Indianapolis, earning multiple personal records and top-five program marks.
On the throws side, senior Rebekah Conrad earned a fifth-place finish in the weight throw while graduate student Elaina Panagakos and freshman Chloe Hansen earned personal bests. Hansen also recorded a PR in the shot put.
The 200m was certainly a highlight of the competition for the Flyers. Senior Jadyn Haywood broke her own school record, running 23.97, while freshman Simone Bessong ran a PR of 24.28, the third fastest time in school history. In the 60m hurdles, senior Raegan Ernst ran the second fastest time in school history of 8.71 while freshman Jameson Pillifant was right behind her in 8.77, the fourth best mark in school history.
FLYERS IN ACTION
The throws team of senior Rebekah Conrad, senior Anna Yater, graduate student Elaina Panagakos, freshman Chloe Hansen, and senior Maggie Hofner will compete across the two events on Friday and Saturday.
