WASHINGTON, D.C. – Kyle McNally of the University of Dayton men's tennis team is this week's Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, the conference announced.
The junior went 2-0 in both singles and doubles in the team's split against Ball State and Ole Miss this weekend.
Against Ball State, McNally won 6-4, 6-0 in singles and 6-2 with teammate Sturle Skigelstrand, helping the Flyers win 6-1.
In the 4-1 loss to Ole Miss, the Algonquin, Ill. native won his singles match 6-0, 6-4, earning Dayton's only point. He and Skigelstrand also won their doubles match, upsetting a pair that is No. 11 in the country. Â
Their doubles win is now the highest-ranked win in program history.
