WASHINGTON, D.C. - University of Dayton men's basketball senior Javon Bennett has been named the Atlantic 10 Under Armour Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Bennett helped carry Dayton to a 2-0 week and their fifth consecutive win, averaging 21.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 54.2% from the floor and 56.3% from behind the arc. 

The Orlando, Fla. native scored 17 points and had a season-high five rebounds in UD's win over No. 23-ranked Saint Louis, and followed it up with a 25-point, four-assist showing at George Washington. 

Bennett's performance against GW saw him shoot an impressive 61.5% (8-of-13) from the floor and 66.7% (6-of-9) from behind the arc.
