INDIANAPOLIS – University of Dayton men's basketball player
Javon Bennett has been selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches to represent the Flyers in the 2026 NABC-Reese's Division I College All-Star Game.
Â
The All-Star Game will take place on Friday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of Reese's Final Four Friday. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, and admission to the game and Reese's Final Four Friday is free.
Â
Bennett led the Flyers in scoring (15.8) and assists (2.0), while also turning in the best free-throw shooting season since Brian Roberts in 2008 by shooting 89.8% (123-of-137) from the charity stripe. The Orlando, Fla. native joined the 1,000 career point club in the first game of the season against Canisius, and became just the third transfer student-athlete to eclipse the 1,000 point mark in his UD career. He has now accumulated 1,531 overall career points and 1,204 as a Flyer.
Â
Bennett was a NABC All-District second team honoree, as well as first team All-Atlantic 10 and A-10 All-Tournament Team member.Â
