DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team will be hosting Mercyhurst this Friday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Flyers kept their winning streak on April 4, defeating Xavier 4-0. With this, the Flyers have an overall record of 15-6. Kyle McNally, Mikkel Zinder and Rishi Dore won their singles matches against the Musketeers, helping to clinch the match along with the doubles point. McNally continues his impressive junior campaign with a 23-4 overall record with 16 straight wins.
Mercyhurst has an overall record of 6-6 this season, winning its last match against Chicago State on April 3, 6-1. On March 26, the NEC announced its weekly award winners, with Danylo Rekun earning Player of the Week. Teammate Nikola Radisic was named Rookie of the Week.
This will be the first time the Flyers go up against the Lakers, wrapping up the regular season.
Dayton will return to action with the Atlantic 10 Championship in Lake Nona, Fla. on April 22-25.
