WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of Dayton volleyball team has been selected first in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, the league announced Tuesday.
This is the third consecutive year that the Flyers have claimed the top spot.
Last season, Dayton went 23-7 with a perfect 18-0 A10 record, holding the longest regular-season conference win streak in the NCAA at 56 matches.
Dayton received eight first-place votes, claiming the top spot with 97 points. Loyola Chicago, which won the A10 tournament last year, took second with 91 points and two first-place votes.
The 2026 season begins on Aug. 28, with teams vying for a spot in the Atlantic 10 Championship on Nov. 20-22 at Gentile Arena in Chicago, Ill. The Flyers begin the season at home with the Flyer Invitational, hosting Marquette, Santa Clara and Eastern Illinois on Aug. 28-29.
