Jordan Softcheck

Jordan Softcheck is in his fourth season coaching the Flyer wideouts. Prior to Dayton, he served as the wide receivers coach and assistant recruiting coordinator at Wingate University. His duties included Lift-a-thon Coordinator, Football Liaison to University’s Student Life and Housing Departments, Recruiting Responsibilities in Northeast & areas in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2011 the Wingate football team ranked #11 in NCAA Division II for passing offense (30 TD Passes). One of Softcheck’s receivers was in the nation’s top 10 for receiving yards, yards per game and receptions per game, and was named an All-American.

Softcheck has also worked many summer football camps that include: Hawg Tuff Football Camp, Wingate Offensive Line Academy, FBU Camp, and Elon Football Camp.

Softcheck studied at Wingate University, and earned his Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education. He was a three-year letterwinner and served as a team captain in his two years as a starter. He was a member of the team and class that tied the Wingate career and single season record for victories.
