• Was a standout at the NBA Basketball Without Borders event during the 2024 All-Star weekend
• Also played in the Nike Hoop Summit in the spring of 2024
• Averaged 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game at the 2024 Asia Cup Qualifying Tournament, in 23 minutes per game.
• Has a 7-1 wingspan
• A versatile player with a good feel for the game
• Is the second player from Qatar to play D-I basketball. Abood Abuissa played three games in 2019-20 and one in 2020-21 for Sacred Heart

• Son of Yassin Mousa
• His father was the first player from Arab world to be invited to Nike Hoop Summit in 2000, played on the Qatar National Team and was part of Qatar’s 3x3 squad that won the 2014 FIBA championship
• Has two brothers – Abdulla and Ahmed Yassin
• At age 16, Yassin is already a standout for Qatar's U-18 team
• Majoring in sport management
• Grew up playing soccer before switching to basketball
