2024-25 (R-Junior)
• Had a career-high 22 points at the start of the season vs Iowa St.
• Started in 31 of the 33 games played.
• Team leader in number of assists with a total of 174 averaging 5.3/G.
• Team leader in number of turnovers with 70 in total, averaging 2.1/G.
• Honored as CollegeAdvantage Student-Athlete of the Weeks on January 8, January 15, February 5
2023-24 (Junior)
• Had surgery to repair and rebuild both ankles six weeks apart in the spring and summer of 2023
• Worked his tail off to return to practice in September and entered the season with no restrictions
• Voted Preseason Second Team All-Atlantic 10
• Injured his knee after playing just seven minutes in the opener, had surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his right knee two days later, and took advantage of a medical redshirt the season in 2023-24.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
• Injuries to both ankles forced him to miss 15 games in 2022-23
• Started at point guard in 16 of the 19 games he did play in (including the final 12 of the year).
• Led the team with 107 assists while averaging 5.8 for the season and 6.25 apg during A-10 play
• His 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio would have led the A-10 if he had played in enough games to qualify for league rankings
• Shot 53% from three on 15-28, during A-10 play
• Scored a career-high 21 points in an overtime win at Loyola Chicago
• Had a career-high 13 assists in a win at Richmond
• Had reconstructive surgery on both ankles in the off-season, surgery that was designed to not just repair the injury, but rebuild and strengthen the ankles.
2021-22 (Freshman)
• Started 29 of the teams 33 games before a season-ending injury on March 12th.
• Averaged 9.3 ppg while leading the team in minutes per game at 31.0
• Led the team with 175 assists. Seventh most in a season is program history, second for a freshman
• Finished with a 2.61 assist-to-turnover ratio, fourth best in program history, best for a freshman.
• Accounted for 30% of the team's steals (59 total). Fifth-most in program history and most for a freshman.
• Averaged 4.1 rebounds a game, fourth most on the team.
• Earned A-10 rookie of the week four times
• Second on the team in 3-point percentage at 40%
• Notched two double-doubles.
• Recorded at least five points, rebounds and assists in nine games.
• White Allen Co-Most Valuable Player recipient.
• MVP of the ESPN Events Invitational. First Flyer freshman recipient of an in-season tournament since 1980.
• Winner of the Alex Schoen Memorial Free Throw Trophy, which goes to UD's top free throw shooter.
• Nominated for Rookie of the Year at the 2022 RUDYS.
• Recipient of the Ohio's College Advantage Student-Athletes of the Week three times
• Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team
High School
• A three/four-star recruit, Smith led St. Raymond High School For Boys to the 2020 New York Catholic High School Athletic Association AA regular season championship
• St. Raymond ranked first in New York City and fourth in the state of New York
• Named AA First Team All-CHSAA and Third Team All-New York after averaging 19.2 points, 8.0 assists and 5.2 rebounds in his only varsity season
• Was the third-ranked player in New York City (and the top point guard), and the sixth-ranked player in the state in 2019-20
• In the fall of 2020, he was named the regular season MVP of the Gauchos Roundball Classic, and first team all-tournament
• Missed his senior high school season due to the pandemic
• Smith's connection with the UD basketball program goes back much farther than his being recruited by Anthony Grant. His brother Scoochie was an All-Atlantic 10 guard in 2017, taking the Flyers to the NCAA tournament four seasons under Archie Miller
• Was an AAU teammate on the famed New York Gauchos with former Flyer guard Koby Brea.
