Come join the Flyer Faithful as they begin the 2006-07 season with a Red Out Rally sponsored by the UD Division of Athletics, National City, Cincinnati Bell, Meijer, Coca-Cola, Buffalo Wild Wings and Community Blood Center. The rally begins on Thursday, August 24 at 5:15 p.m. with a parade through campus by the UD marching band followed by a pep rally at the Art Street Amphitheater.

The program will feature all facets of UD Athletics including the marching band, cheerleaders, athletes, coaches and mostly importantly you the fans!

After the parade arrives at Art Street, fans will be greeted by a wide array of events and giveways including food and cornhole provided by UD's corporate sponsors.

Then beginning at 7 p.m. Head Football Coach Mike Kelly will lead the group in a wing eating contest sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings.

That contest will be followed by speeches and contests led by volleyball coach Tim Horsmon, women's basketball coach Jim Jabir and men's basketball coach Brian Gregory.

UD students can sign up to join Red Scare - UD's Student Fan Club - throughout the night while also getting ready to support Flyer athletics during another successful year.

The UD Division of Athletics looks forward to a great turnout at the Art Street Amphitheater on Thursday night!
