DAYTON, Ohio -  Sophomore midfielder Mandi Back was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal for UD in double overtime on Sunday against Iowa State. Back scored the only two goals Dayton had in the game helping the Flyers take home the Gopher Invitational title.

Back was also named to the Gopher Invitational All-Tournament team for her efforts during the weekend. In total, this past week she tallied 10 shots, two goals, and an assist. She currently leads the team in shots (24) and goals with three so far this season.

The Flyers return to action Friday opening up Atlantic 10 play at Baujan Field. Dayton will face local rival Xavier at 7:30 p.m. Friday followed by Oakland at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Both games can be followed with Gametracker on www.DaytonFlyers.com.
