After returning from an injury earlier in the season, Rolfe has the Chicago Fire back in the Major League Soccer playoff chase. Rolfe's return has the Fire (8-10-8, 32 pts.) holding the eighth and final playoff spot with 32 points, just one point ahead of the Columbus Crew.

On the 2007 season Rolfe is second on the team in goals with five in 15 games played. The Fire have five regular season games remaining in 2007.

Rolfe isn't the only former Dayton Flyer on the Chicago Fire roster. Dasan Robinson is also helping the Fire's cause. At UD, Robinson played in 68 games between 2002 and 2005 and was selected by the Fire in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft.

Earlier this season Rolfe played on the US National Team in February and in 2006 Rolfe was an alternate for the United States in World Cup 2006.

As UD's all-time assist leader with 25, Rolfe was selected to the 2004 NSCAA/adidas® Men's NCAA Division I All-America Second Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 pick. Rolfe ranks sixth in career goals (31) and third in points (87) on the Dayton charts as well.
