Head Coach Rick Chamberlin
"The first touchdown was because of Nick Collins' concentration, he was the one that picked it up. At first when I saw it I thought, `Oh, that's a bad pass' but then once I saw it I thought, `Oh, what a great pass. His touchdown really got us going."
"As a team you can't care about what the other team's record is, you have to do your own business. You have to play the way that you know how to play and how you need to execute. I feel like we've been doing that now for the last several weeks."
"The easy stuff is over now. We are heading into the meat of our conference against the tougher teams at the top and three of them are on the road. They are ready both mentally and emotionally to get at it."
"Our offense has a lot of confidence right now. First in the Davidson game, then the Drake game it is starting to come together for them."
"I could feel that we were ready to play. No matter what Valparaiso was going to throw at us, we were going to do our job and get it done. As a coach, it makes you nervous when you are not sure if they will be into it and we tried not to worry about records, but I don't think we really had to talk about it that much to our guys."
