The Dayton Flyers women's rowing team continued to finalize their roster with the addition of Ashley Quinn named as an assistant coach.
Quinn previously served an Assistant Coach for Greater Dayton Rowing Association. She joins joins head coach Derek Copeland and fellow first-year assistant Andrew Henry on the rowing staff.
"We are pleased to add Ashley Quinn to our coaching staff," said Copeland. "Ashley was a fierce competitor during her college days and has excelled a coach. We feel her experience is a good fit for our program."
Quinn will assist Copeland with various aspects of the program that includes recruiting, fundraising and student-athlete development.
Quinn began her rowing career with Greater Dayton Rowing Association in 2000 and went on to row for the Indiana University Varsity Women's Rowing team for four years.
The Englewood, Ohio native was a four-year letterwinner in track, as well as a letter in volleyball and rowing. She received her Bachelor's degree in Art History in 2005 and recently completed her Master's degree in Contemporary Art History from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, England.
