DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing program is set to compete at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships Saturday, May 17 to finish up the spring campaign.
The Flyers will travel to Pennsauken, N.J. to race on the Cooper River Saturday morning.
Prelims will begin with the varsity 4+ boats around 8 a.m. followed by varsity 8+ heats around 8:30 a.m. After a brief intermission, finals will start up around 11 a.m. and expected to be completed for the awards ceremony by 1:30 p.m.
Dayton has improved throughout the spring season with strong showings at the Marietta Invite, Lubbers Cup, and George Mason Invite. UD battled fierce competition at this year's SIRA Championship in Tennessee before the final warm-up meet on May 3 at Eastern Michigan. The Flyers have overcome challenging weather conditions and injuries throughout the spring and look to cap off the year with a successful outing at the A-10s.
"We had a good weekend of preparation for the conference championships and the team is ready to finish the season on a high note," said head coach Mike Wenker.
