DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton volleyball team will host a public NCAA Championship Selection Show Party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Kettering on Sunday, Nov. 28. The 64-team Championship bracket will be announced between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on ESPNEWS.
A special room will be reserved for the Flyer faithful to gather and celebrate Dayton’s 2010 Atlantic 10 Regular Season and Tournament titles while looking forward to the Flyers’ fourth consecutive berth in the NCAA Championship. Food and beverage are not complementary.
The Flyers will host a 2010 NCAA Volleyball Regional (rounds of 16 and eight) at UD Arena on Dec. 10 and 11. Regardless of Dayton’s opening round placement, the Flyers will compete in the region which feeds into UD Arena. The Final Four will be held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., on Dec. 16 and 18.
No. 12 Dayton has one more regular season match before the NCAA Championship in December. The Flyers will travel to Athens, Ohio on Friday, Nov. 26, to face another tournament team – Ohio (21-11), which won the Mid-American Conference Tournament last Sunday for an automatic bid.
