POSTSEASON MENS AND WOMENS BASKETBALL TICKET PROCEDURES ANNOUNCED

The University of Dayton, Division of Athletics announced postseason national tournament ticketing procedures for both Men’s and Women’s Basketball.

MEN’S BASKETBALL - NCAA Ticket Distribution


Beginning Wednesday, March 10, fans can apply online at DaytonFlyers.com or call the University of Dayton ticket office at (937) 229-4433 to request tickets if the Flyers automatically qualify or are selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament. Fans who apply can to receive up to four tickets at one of eight NCAA First and Second round sites.  

A list will be created for requests at each site. Once the tournament selection and site is finalized, fans will be informed if they did or did not secure tickets. Fans that are not allocated tickets from the University of Dayton allotment will be able to contact the host site for ticket availability.
Requests will be taken online beginning Wednesday, March 10 through Monday, March 15 at noon ET if the Flyers qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

Tickets will be allocated according to the number of years fans have held season tickets and donation level to Athletics (donations to areas other than Athletics will not be considered). Ticket costs vary per site.  

MEN’S BASKETBALL - NIT Ticket Distribution

If the Flyers are to play in the National Invitational Tournament and are selected to host a first round game, tickets and parking passes will go on sale for season tickets holders at the University of Dayton Arena Monday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET and Tuesday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Season ticket holders can pre-pay online at DaytonFlyers.com.

Fans are urged to pre-pay on-line and bring their receipt to the University of Dayton Arena. This will help expedite the ticket distribution process.  

Season ticket holders who wish to secure the same seats they sit in during the regular season will be required to purchase tickets for two games; First and a potential Second round game. If the Flyers do not play a second round game at home, a credit will be placed on season ticket holder accounts for the 2010-11 season.  

Fans that do not hold season tickets can purchase tickets online at DaytonFlyers.com beginning Monday, March, 15.

If the Flyers are selected to participate in the National Invitational Tournament and play away from the University of Dayton Arena, fans will need to contact the host site for tickets. Tickets will not be sold at the University of Dayton ticket office.

Tickets for the National Invitational Tournament are $20 for the Lower Arena, $15 for the 300 level and $10 for the 400 level. Parking passes are $5.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL - NCAA Ticket Distribution

In anticipation of participation in the 2010 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, fans can call the Women’s Basketball Office at (937) 229-4447 beginning Wednesday, March 10 through Friday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET each day.

Fans can apply to receive up to four tickets at one of 16 NCAA First and Second round sites. A list will be created for requests at each site.

If the Flyers are selected to host a Women’s National Invitational Tournament game at the University of Dayton Arena, tickets will go on sale at the University of Dayton Arena Ticket office beginning Tuesday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET and on Wednesday, March 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
