DAYTON STAYS NO. 1 IN NSCAA REGIONAL RANKING

The University of Dayton women’s soccer team (11-2-0) remained No.1 in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region rankings for the seventh time this season (of eight rankings). The Flyers are also No. 21 in the latest NCAA RPI (Oct. 12).

Following a tough 2-1 overtime loss to La Salle (ranked No. 22 by College Soccer America and No. 35 by TopDrawerSoccer) and a 2-1 win over Fordham last weekend, Dayton dropped to No. 21 in the NSCAA National Rankings from its No. 15 position last week.

UD is also ranked No.23 in the TopDrawerSoccer Tournament 64 Rankings, dropping six spots from No.17 last week. Dayton is No. 20 in the College Soccer Times.

Dayton’s .846 winning percentage is ranked 13th in the NCAA and the Flyers 2.31 points per game is ranked 33rd.

The Flyers play at George Washington this Friday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. ET at Mount Vernon Field.
