DAYTON, Ohio –  For the fourth consecutive year, student-athletes, coaches and staff from the University of Dayton men's and women's basketball teams, along with Santa Claus, visited children at the YMCA Day Care Center at the Grace United Methodist Church on Salem Avenue.

Senior Kevin Dillard read The Night Before Christmas to kick off the visit. Then the children performed some of their favorite holiday songs for the Flyers.

UD Women’s Basketball Director of Basketball Operations Nerlande Nicolas then introduced Santa Claus and the players helped distribute gifts to each child.

After opening their gifts the children talked and played with student-athletes and coaches from the Flyer men's and women's basketball teams.

The Flyers and the University of Dayton Department of Athletics would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
