DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton Women's Rowing team will hold informational meetings for athletes interested in trying out for the 2012-13 team.
The meetings will take place at the Frericks Center in Room 6 on the following days:
- Wednesday, August 22 - 8 p.m.
- Thursday, August 23 - 8 p.m.
- Friday, August 24 - 4 p.m.
- Saturday, August 25 - 1 p.m.
The meeting is open to all students, no prior rowing experience is necessary.
During the meeting, the coaching staff will explain what being a member of the team entails as well as outline the tryout procedure. Anyone who is interested in learning more is encouraged to attend.

2011-2012 Highlights
Dayton took fifth at the Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship with an impressive bronze medal finish in the Varsity 8. The team was also honored with two All-Conference selections and three Flyers named to the All-Academic Team.
Academically, Dayton is one of the strongest teams in the nation. In addition to the A-10 All-Academic selections, last year the program had a record 13 student-athletes named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete list.
