Ball kids are an integral part of the Dayton Flyers. UD Athletics and Gem City Tire have partnered to provide opportunities for local kids to enjoy this experience.

Ball kids are positioned on the court for pre-game activities as the players prep for their opponent. For their participation, each kid receives a free game ticket, Dayton/Gem City Tire t-shirt, a mini-ball, a poster, and will be recognized during pregame.

In addition to the general responsibilities, all ball kids must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be between the ages of 8 and 12 years old (not yet in 9th grade) at the start of the season.

2. Must be able to listen to and follow verbal directions given by supervision.
 
3. Must arrive one (1) hour before the start of the game and arrive on time.

UD assigns ball kids on a game-to-game basis, subject to available slots.
