FLYERS CRUISE WITH AN 89-62 EXHIBITION WIN OVER RYERSON

DAYTON, Ohio – A 16 point, 12 rebound effort from Dyshawn Pierre highlighted the Dayton Flyers 89-62 victory against the Ryerson Rams in exhibition action.

Pierre was one of five Flyers to score in double figures. Jordan Sibert led all scorers with 17 points, Vee Sanford and Jalen Robinson tallied 11 apiece and Devin Oliver had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Dayton held a 48-35 advantage on the glass and hauled in 21 offensive rebounds. On the defensive end, UD forced 17 Ram turnovers and limited Ryerson to 34 percent shooting from the floor.

Other contributors for Dayton included Scoochie Smith's five assists without a turnover and Matt Kavanaugh adding four points and seven rebounds.

Next up for Dayton is another home exhibition contest on Saturday, Nov. 2 against the Findlay Oilers. Tip is at 7 p.m. ET.
