BOONVILLE, Ind. - The University of Dayton women's golf team wrapped up its fall 2013 season with back-to-back program low rounds of 304 at the Braun Intercollegiate hosted by University of Evansville. The Flyers posted a team score of 304-304=608 (+40) to finish in 10th place overall at the two-day event held at Quail Crossing Golf Club.

This is the first time in program history UD has posted back-to-back record low rounds of 304. Previously, Dayton recorded a round of 304 this past spring on April 13, 2013 in the third round of the Indiana Invitational.

"We had a great start yesterday with Mika's (Suntay) 72 and the entire team kept their focus today," commented head coach Sally Kosters following play. "All five players were in the 70s for today's round. Very proud of the effort and the results."

Suntay led the Flyers with rounds of 72 and 75 for a 36-hole total of 147 (+5) in sole possession of seventh place out of 80 competitors. Senior Maggie Prokop improved seven spots on the leader board with her two-round total of 77-76=153 (+11) to finish in a tie for 28th place.

Senior Grace Nikolai carded rounds of 78 and 76 for a 12-over-par 154, moving up five spots in the standings to a tie for 34th place. Freshman Jenna DiPaolo fired rounds of 77 and 79 for her 156 (+14) total, tying three other players at 47th place. Rounding out team play was junior Lucy Frey, who shaved 10 strokes off her Monday total with a 77 second-round score. Frey turned in a 36-hole 164 (87, +22) for 65th place.

The Flyers have concluded their fall season and will return to action in March. Dayton will host the UD Hilton Head Invitational on March 9 at Berkeley Hall Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C.
