DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton volleyball head coach Matt Affolder welcomed his team back to campus Thursday as the squad prepares to start its 2013 preseason training tomorrow morning. The first official practice for the 2013 Flyers will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Frericks Center.

Affolder, in his first season as head coach of the program after spending the past five seasons as the top assistant, is looking forward to getting preseason practice underway. The team returns two-time All-American senior Megan Campbell as well as seniors Allyson Morey and Shayne Brown.

The Flyers will hold an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 24 with first serve set for 7 p.m. The event will be at Frericks Center and open to the public with free admission! The regular season will kick off with the Dayton Invitational Aug. 30-31 as the Flyers welcome Northeastern, Missuori State and Tulsa to Frericks Center for the two-day event.
