As the University of Dayton rowing team finishes up its fall schedule Saturday with a meet against Ohio State in Dayton on the Great Miami River, it will begin preparations for its 2015 spring schedule.
The spring slate begins with the Lake Dillon meet on March 21, where fellow Atlantic 10 Conference member Duquesne, Â and Marietta, will join the Flyers.
"I'm excited to see how we race in the spring season," Head Coach
Michael Wenker said.
The following week, the team will travel to Bloomington, Indiana, to face Indiana University and Purdue  on March 28. The Flyers will then head to Cincinnati to take part in the Cincinnati Regatta, hosted by the University of Cincinnati Rowing Club, April 4.
Just five days following the Cincinnati Regatta UD will make its way to Washington, D.C. for the two-day GW Invitational, hosted by A-10 member George Washington, April 10-11. The following weekend the Flyers will take part in another two-day meet, the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) Championship Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
"We are looking forward to racing in both the GW Invitational and the SIRA Championships before our conference championship race," Wenker said.
The Atlantic 10 Conference Championship race will be held May 2 in Fairfax, Virginia. The Flyers will complete their spring schedule at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia May 8-9.
"It's a challenging schedule," Wenker said.
