Round One Results

AVON, Ind. - The University of Dayton women's golf team is currently in fourth place after the first 18 holes of the Butler Spring Invitational after posting a team score of 316 (+32). Senior Maggie Prokop had the Flyers' best round of the day with her seven-over 78, putting her in a tie for eighth place. The two-day event is being held at the par-71, 6,085-yard Prestwick Country Club.

Senior Erin Peavy and junior Lucy Frey each carded a 79 (+8) for the day and are tied for 12th place. Senior Grace Nikolai and sophomore Mika Suntay turned in rounds of 80 to sit at nine-over par and in a tie for 17th overall.

Junior Kelly Muskat is playing as an individual for the tournament and recorded an 86 for the first round. She is in a tie for 39th.

Play will resume tomorrow for the final 18 holes of the tournament.
