The fourth video in the University of Dayton men's soccer senior testimonial series features former Flyer forward
Andres Acevedo.
Acevedo played in 63 career games for the Flyers after coming to Dayton from Rego Park, N.Y. The midfielder-forward scored nine career goals, including four game winners. The most notable of those clutch goals came in overtime against Incarnate Word this past season, which sealed a perfect 10-0 start in non-conference play for the Flyers.
In his time at UD, Acevedo has grown and developed each and every season in the program. He provided width on the offensive attack and was a proven goal scorer. Off the field, Acevedo was a leader both vocally and by example. Even after overcoming a knee injury his senior year, he was a vital part of Dayton's success in 2013.
This is the fourth video of the seven part series. Next week, we will look at an interview with
Jonathan Nelson.
