The University of Dayton men's cross country team will send runners to Peoria, Ill. to compete in the Bradley Invitational 8k this Friday, Oct. 16 at Newman Golf Course. The men's varsity race is set to begin at 3 p.m.

Last year the Flyers finished in the top half, placing 12th of 27 teams. Senior
Michael Tymoski ran a personal best time of 25:35.6 and was the Flyers' top finisher.

Dayton placed in sixth in the last two meets in Cedarville, Ohio – the Friendship Invitational 8k and the All-Ohio Championship 8k. Nine Flyers ran personal best times at the All-Ohio on Oct. 2.

 The Flyers began the season tied for second at the
Rich Davis Flyer 5k, only three points behind first-place Ohio University. Later in September, the Flyers traveled to South Bend, Ind. for the National Catholic Invitational and placed fifth out of 13 Division I teams.Â
