The University of Dayton rowing team will see its first competition this Saturday when the Flyers travel to Marietta College for races against Ohio State (club), Cincinnati (club), Washington University, St. Louis and host Marietta. 

"The team is very excited to race against competition this weekend," said UD Head Coach Mike Wenker. "Our opponents will have some speed.  Each boat will have to race together to get the better of the crews on the Muskingum River. This is an opportunity to gauge where the team is after months of training." 

The UD rowing team has 41 team members from all over the country, ranging from California, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Pennsylvania. 

The seniors on the team are Alex Anain, Rachel Hock, Erin Mohney and Allie Rogers.
