• The University of Dayton women's soccer team (7-9-0, 5-2-0 A-10) hosts St. Bonaventure this Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at Baujan Field. Prior to the match, five Flyer seniors will be recognized:
Ashley Campbell,
Lesley Chilton,
Megan Herr,
Alyson Smigel and
Nicole Waters.The senior recognition will start at 12:45 p.m.
• Dayton is currently third in the A-10 standings, while the Bonnies are tied for 10th, with three matches left to play. The top eight teams advance to the 2015 A-10 Championship held Nov. 5-8 which will be hosted by Davidson in North Carolina.
• The Flyers have won their last two A-10 matches: a 3-1 home win vs. Fordham (Oct. 18)and a 2-0 road win at Rhode Island (Oct. 22).
• The win over Fordham marked the 300th career victory for Flyer Head Coach
Mike Tucker.
• In the win over Rhode Island,
Ashley Campbell scored both goals and became UD's all-time leading goal scorer. She has scored 59 career goals, overtaking the record previously held by three-time All-American Colleen Williams (2009-2012).
• The Bonnies lost their first four conference matches but bounced back with a 4-3 overtime win over Rhode Island and a 1-0 win over Saint Louis. The Bonnies most recently suffered a 2-0 setback at Davidson on Thursday, Oct. 22.
THE SERIES• The Flyers lead the all-time series 15-1-2 over the Bonnies.
• UD's only loss was at St. Bonaventure Oct. 24, 2010 (L 2-1).
• Dayton's home record vs. SBU is 8-0-0.
• The last meeting between these two teams was Nov. 8, 2013 in the A-10 Championship Semifinal at VCU. Dayton won 4-1.
BELIEVIN' IN BAUJAN • The Flyers are 213-61-20 all-time in games played at Baujan Field. UD owns a .760 winning percentage in those matches.
• In the last six years, Dayton is 58-11-5 at home, an astounding .820 winning percentage at Baujan.
• Dayton's first home match of the 2015 season vs. then No. 18 Ohio State drew 2,102 fans, the second-largest attendance for a UD women's soccer match at Baujan Field in program history.
TERRIFIC TUCKER• Tucker is his 21st season at UD and has amassed an overall record of 301-114-29 overall and 160-31-10 vs. A-10 opponents.
• Tucker is one of just 17 active coaches to have won 300 matches in NCAA Division I Women's Soccer.
CAMPBELL'S CAREER• Campbell is one of eight Flyers to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has 22 career assists.
• Her game-winning goal vs. UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 20) was the 50th of Campbell's career. She became just the third Flyer to score 50 goals.
• With her four points in UD's 5-2 win over Rice on Sept. 11, Campbell moved up to second all-time at Dayton for career points. She currently has 140.
• Campbell scored 18 goals during the 2013 season, which is tied for fourth best at UD for a single season.
WATERS CAN ASSIST YOU• Senior
Nicole Waters leads the NCAA for active players in career assists (49).
• Waters holds the UD single-season assists record with 18, which she set in 2014.
• Her 49 career assists rank second on UD's all-time Top 10 list (one from tying for the lead).
• Waters is the eighth Flyer to score at least 20 goals and dish 20 assists in her career. She has scored 20 goals.
• Waters was fourth, nationally, in assists (18) in 2014 and led the nation with 17 assists in 2013.
