NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The 2014 defending Atlantic 10 champions, Dayton (10-9, 8-2 A-10), earned the two seed and will face seventh-seeded Duquesne (10-9, 5-5 A-10) on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the 2015 A-10 Championship on the campus of Davidson College.  

Tickets for the championship are available through the Davidson Ticket Office or onsite at Alumni Soccer Stadium. The first two rounds of the 2015 A-10 Championship will be streamed for free on the Atlantic 10 Network,  while Sunday's Championship will air on the American Sports Network (ASN). The Flyers picked up steam in the second half of the conference season, winning its last five matches by at least a pair of goals. The Dukes pulled out a 2-1 victory over La Salle on the final day of play to get back to .500 and take the seven seed. UD defeated Duquesne, 5-2, in their only meeting this season.

The George Washington Colonials completed a perfect 10-0 conference slate to earn the Atlantic 10 women's soccer regular season championship title and top seed for the 2015 Championship. The Colonials (15-4, 10-0 A-10), whose 13 consecutive wins are the longest active streak in the country, finished its best regular season since 1987. GW's 15 wins tie a program best, and will face the eighth-seeded George Mason, (8-9-1, 4-5-1 A-10) in the first quarterfinal contest on Thursday at 11 a.m. George Mason snapped a three-match skid on the final day of the season, battling to a 1-1 double, overtime draw with Fordham.

Saint Joseph's (13-6, 7-3) picked up its sixth-straight victory to earn a three seed in the A-10 Championship and will face the 2014 regular season champion, La Salle (8-8-3, 5-4-1 A-10) in Thursday's final match up at 7:30 pm. The Hawks finished their season with a trio of consecutive shutouts to set a single-season record for wins with 13. Saint Joseph's and La Salle met most recently on Oct. 11, with the Explorers taking a 3-1 win.

VCU (8-8-3, 6-2-2 A-10) and Fordham (12-6-1, 6-3-1 A-10) will battle in the 1:30 p.m. contest on Thursday. VCU edged out Fordham 3-2 in overtime in their last meeting. VCU has competed in the A-10 Championship in each of its three years in the A-10, while Fordham will make its first appearance since 2009.

The winner of the George Washington-George Mason and VCU-Fordham contests will compete in Friday's first semifinal game at 5 p.m. The second semifinal match, which begins at 7:30 p.m., which feature the winners of Dayton-Duquesne and Saint Joseph's-La Salle.

The Championship match will be played Sunday at noon on ASN. The championship format, which features an eight-team bracket, is single elimination, with the winner earning the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
