Box Score 2 DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton's Men's and Women's tennis teams competed against Temple this weekend at home.
After a tough day of competition on Friday, Feb. 20, the Flyer men defeated Temple 5-2, while the women fell 1-5 to the Owls. These matches bring the men's record to 6-4 overall, and the women's record to 4-4 overall.

The Flyer women were defeated 1-5 by the Owls, but
Jackie Kawamoto went undefeated in doubles and singles play on Friday. Kawamoto/Townsend brought in a victory in the No. 3 spot in doubles, and Kawamoto defeated Nussaume of Temple 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 4 spot during singles competition.

The men's match against Ohio State scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21 was postponed and the women's match against Xavier scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21 was cancelled due to weather.
