University of Dayton rowing will compete in its first competition this Saturday, March 21 at Lake Dillon vs. Duquesne, Marietta and North Park.

"We are excited to race this weekend.  Duquesne, Marietta, and North Park will be competitive," said UD Head Coach Mike Wenker. "For the first race of the season and with the limited amount of practice on the water, we just want to focus on good racing alongside some fast crews to see how we stack up."

The Lake Dillon is located just outside of Zanesville, Ohio. Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association is responsible for a new 1500m course at the site.
