TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - With a team score of 330-321=651, the University of Dayton women's golf team finished in 10th place at the Indiana State Spring Invitational, the team's final regular-season outing. Senior
Lucy Frey turned in the Flyers' lowest two-round total of 80-79=159 (+15) to finished tied for 27th place. The Sycamores hosted the 36-hole invitational at the Country Club of Terre Haute and the course was played at par 72 and 6,041 yards.
Indiana State claimed the team title with a score of 301-308=609 (+33) and the Sycamores' Marissa Uradomo took home medalist honors after carding a 72-76=148 (+4).
Sophomore
Jenna DiPaolo fired rounds of 81 and 80 for a two-round score of 161 (+17) to tie for 34th place and junior
Mika Suntay shaved seven strokes off her Sunday total to card an 86-79=165 (+21) and tied for 49th. Freshman
Emma Meyer was right behind Suntay with back-to-back rounds of 83 (166, +22) to tie for 51st and junior
Amalia Emma turned in an 88-87=175 (+31) to finish in 72nd place.
Senior
Mary-Katherine Slattery played as an individual, carding rounds of 86 and 84 for a tournament total of 170 (+26) to tie for 59th place.
The Flyers will have next week off before heading south for the program's first appearance in the MAAC Championship April 24-26. The championship will be played at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Orlando, Florida.
