DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's soccer team will play a pair of non-conference games this weekend as it continues the 2015 campaign. The Flyers will host Northern Kentucky on Friday at 7 p.m. at Baujan Field. Friday's game will be televised regionally on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel Ohio. Due to existing television contractual agreements, Friday's video stream is geoblocked in the state of Ohio. Outside of Ohio, fans are able to watch the game live for free via DaytonFlyers.com.
They will then head to No. 24 Western Michigan on Sunday for a 1 p.m. contest.
SCOUTING THE FLYERSDayton is 3-3 this year, including a 1-1 record at home and a 2-1 record on the road. The Flyers have wins over James Madison, Cleveland State, and High Point. Head Coach
Dennis Currier is in his 11th year in charge and boasts 103 wins at UD.
The Flyers are averaging 1.67 goals per game while holding opponents to a 1.50 mark. Dayton is out-shooting opposing squads 14.2 shots per game compared to the 11.0 allowed. UD has a .435 shots on goal percentage as well.

THE SERIESThe Flyers are 2-0 all-time against Northern Kentucky. Dayton defeated the Norse on Sept. 6, 2015 in their last meeting by a score of 5-1 at Baujan Field. Prior to that, UD and NKU hadn't met since 1987, a 3-1 win for the Flyers.
This will be the 11th meeting all time between Dayton and Western Michigan. The Flyers and Broncos are tied at 4-4-2 in the all-time series, including a 2-2 double overtime draw in their last meeting in 2014.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
NORTHERN KENTUCKYThe Norse are 3-2 after picking up wins against Memphis, St. Francis (Pa.), and IPFW and suffering losses to Cincinnati and Bucknell. Head coach John Basalyga is in his 13th season leading the Norse, and is looking to improve upon the 2014 record of 6-10-4 while receiving his second Division I postseason bid.
Through five games, the Norse have averaged 1.4 goals per game while holding their opponents to just 1.25 goals per contest. The Norse also have a .519 shots on goal percentage compared to their opponents' .375 mark.
Senior Yaw Addai is tied for the team lead in goals scored with freshman Calvin Murphy, each with two apiece. Senior Ronald Moss has chipped in two assists and a goal to tie the aforementioned with four total points this year. On the defensive side of the field, the Norse are led by goalkeeper A.J. Fleak, who earned his second Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week honor on Monday with his third shutout match in the last four games.
WESTERN MICHIGANThe Broncos are a perfect 5-0 after picking up wins against Marshall, IPFW, IUPUI, St. Bonaventure, and Western Illinois. Head coach Chad Wiseman is in his third season leading the Broncos, and looks to improve upon last season's mark of 8-7-4. WMU advanced to the MAC Tournament last season as well.
Through five games, the Broncos have shown to be one of the most powerful offenses in the country, averaging 2.60 goal per game, which is good for No. 8. Despite their strength on offense, they have been even better on defense. They have yet to allow a goal so far this season which ties them for the lead in all of Division I.
Much of the team's success has come from senior Nick Wysong, who has four goals and three assists on the season. Following Wysong in goals are seniors Brandon Bye and Carlos Suarez, both of whom have two goals apiece.
LAST OUTINGDayton is coming off a tough 2-0 loss to Oakland on Saturday at home, against a Golden Grizzlie team that has popped up in the national polls. Oakland goals in the 63rd and 68th minute sent the Flyers to their third loss of the season.
Northern Kentucky picked up a 2-0 win over IPFW on the road last Sunday, moving the Norse back above a .500 winning percentage. Yaw Addai opened the scoring in the 74th minute on the assist by Diego Martinez before sealing the victory with his second goal in the 89th minute.
Western Michigan remained undefeated on the season with a 1-0 win over Western Illinois at home on Sunday. The Broncos won the contest and the Radisson Invitational thanks to a 73rd-minute goal by Brandon Bye. WMU out-shot WIU 18-3 in the game.
LEADING THE WAYThe Flyers rank first in the Atlantic 10 in shots, points, goals, corners, and are second in assists. Individually, junior
Tommy Harr is second in shots while Schoonderwoerd is third and Haupt is sixth. Schoonderwoerd is third in points as well. Junior
