DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's soccer team had three players named to the All-Ohio team for the 2015 season.
Senior
Amass Amankona joined juniors
James Haupt and
Lalas Abubakar on the First Team All-Ohio.
Together, these three Flyers led Dayton to an Atlantic 10 Tournament title, a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, and a 13-win season. UD also led the nation in scoring offense as well.
Amankona, Haupt, and Abubakar earned First Team All-Conference honors this season with Amankona and Haupt combining for 16 goals and 10 assists while Abubakar anchored the back line, holding opponents to 1.17 goals per game.
This adds to the plethora of accolades the Flyers have racked-up both individually and as a team this season.
