DAYTON DOES WELL AT BUCKEYE CLASSIC

Erin Reese Gets A Dayton All-Time Top 5 Mark

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's track and field team had a strong first meet at the Buckeye Classic in Columbus today to open the 2017 indoor season.

Highlight of the Meet

Dayton's throwers had record performances, led by redshirt sophomore Erin Reese who had PRs in both the weight throw (18.71m) and the shot put (14.26m).

"The team was outstanding today. We are pleased with they way they competed and how they set themselves up for this indoor season," said Director of Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Sarah Haveman.

Top 5 All-Time Mark

Reese's second-place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 18.71m is fourth all-time at Dayton.
