COACH QUOTES
  • "The fall season gives me a good chance to try and see where everyone's at and establish a lineup.  I saw a lot of improvement from Anna Delaney, as she won her flight at the Wright State Tournament.  This year the women's team competed in the ITA regional for the first time in my tenure.  Regionals was a good experience, as it gave three players a chance to compete against some top players from strong programs, like Vanderbilt, without the pressure of a dual match.  If our team stays healthy for the spring season I predict a successful year." – Head Coach Erica Echko
  • "I was pleased with our performances this fall.  I felt that as a team we competed well and showed a lot of grit.  In doubles, Fisher and Berry were able to lead the way with a 9-1 record.  I was very happy to see how hungry they were to continue their winning ways after breaking the school record last year.  In singles, I thought we showed much improvement from where we were this time last year.  Our newcomers all grew over the past few months and will be ready for the dual season this spring.  I can't wait for January to get here so we can make our run at an A-10 title." – Head Coach Ryan Meyer

PLAYER QUOTES
  • "In my opinion, our fall season went very well. Both our singles and doubles line-ups had an excellent showing at our tournaments. I am proud of our team for their commitment to excel on the court as well as in the classroom. The dedication to improving our mental and physical games puts us in a great place for the spring season." – Senior Marlys Bridgham
  • "I believe we had a great fall season and we played some really good matches. The fall is always a good time for us to work on our skills and get in the rhythm of playing matches. I can tell our team is going to be really strong this year and I can't wait for our spring season." – Senior Jade Kawamoto
  • "This fall was a great opportunity for our guys to show what they can do. We saw our returning players continue to play at a level we know they can. As for our first-year players, they stepped up and performed well throughout the fall. Our team is the most talented one we've had in my four years, and it was great to see everyone playing as well as they did. I look forward to continuing to work on the off season and to come back even stronger in the spring." – Senior Zach Berry
