KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dayton senior middle blocker
Amber Erhahon has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Honorable Mention All-America Team as announced by the AVCA on Wednesday.
The 37th annual AVCA Division I All-America Teams for women's volleyball awards will be presented Dec. 15 in Kansas City, Mo. at the AVCA All-America/Players of the Year Banquet. The event is held in conjunction with the 2017 AVCA Convention.
Erhahon, a three-time member of the AVCA All-Midwest Region Team, earns her first national award following a stellar career as a Flyer. The 2017 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year finished the 2017 season ranked fourth nationally with a .442 hitting percentage and 54th nationally with 1.22 blocks per set. Her .413 career hitting percentage is a Dayton program record.
Erhahon is the 14th Dayton Flyer to be recognized by the AVCA on one of its All-America rosters.
