NORMAL, Ill. – The University of Dayton women's track and field team took second place at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational.
 
Highlights
•    Jenni Rossi had a mark of 49.64m in the discus, the second-best all-time mark in UD program history.
•    Grace McDonald took first place in the 800m run with a time of 2:11.84, the third-best time Dayton program history. 
•    Taylor Vernot (1500m), Allison Triskett (3000m Steeplechase) and Leah Frischmann (pole vault) all took gold medals in their respective events.
•    The Flyers had 17 PRs, despite very high winds during the meet.
