DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's cross country team is set to compete in the 2018 Atlantic 10 Championship this Saturday, Oct. 27 in Mechanicsville, Va.
The race is scheduled to take place at Pole Green Park with the men's five-mile race beginning at 10:50 a.m.
The Flyers come into the weekend as the two-time defending champions of the 2016 and 2017 A-10 Championships and currently are ranked ninth in the Great Lakes Region.Â
Dayton has had a number of successes this season with a first-place finish at the Queen City Invitational on Sept. 1, along with a runner-up finish at Notre Dame's National Catholic Invitational on Sept. 14. The men's cross country hopes to carry this momentum into the conference race this weekend.

J.P. Flavin, and
Chris Negri, including All-Rookie runner
Michael Laughlin.
