YPSILANTI, Mich. - The University of Dayton women's golf team shaved seven strokes off its team score in round two of the Shirley Spork Invitational Tuesday. The Flyers finished the competition in ninth place with a score of 321-314=635 (+59) and junior
Ellie Cronin led the team with her score of 76-77=153 (+9) to tie for 13th place.
The two-day event, hosted by Eastern Michigan, is being held at Eagle Crest Golf Club and the course is being played at par 72 and 6,170 yards. Bowling Green captured the team title with its score of 297-295=592 (+16) and the Falcons' Jessica Madry took home medalist honors with a score of 71-70=141 (-3).
