KANSAS CITY – University of Dayton senior
Nadia Pestell was selected as a United Soccer Coaches 2018 All-East Region Third Team honoree.
Pestell was named to the Atlantic 10 Second Team for the second consecutive season. She was also one of three Flyers named to the 11-person, A-10 All-Academic Team.
A Waterloo, Ontario native Pestell played in 76 matches in her career for the Flyers for a total of 6,541 minutes. In addition to being a speedy, lockdown defender, she led UD in assists last season.
Pestell was a 2017 All-Ohio Academic First team selection. She is a double major in French and International Studies, with a concentration in Global Health and Environment. She aspires to be a teacher.
