Box Score The University of Dayton men's tennis team capped off its conference season on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 sweep over La Salle. The win improves Dayton's record to 14-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Flyers have five matches remaining in the regular season against non-conference opponents before beginning the Atlantic 10 Championships in Orlando, Fla. on April 25.
La Salle put up a good fight early on in the doubles matches, but Dayton eventually overpowered the Explorers to take the opening point of the match.
Will Harper and
Simon Jayaram were the first to finish their match at No. 3 doubles with a 6-4 win and
Lorenzo Rollhauser and
Steven Karl clinched the point at No. 2 doubles with a 6-3 victory.
All six Flyers in the lineup won their match in straight sets on Saturday, including junior
Jordan Benjamin who kept his undefeated spring season intact with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Francesco Mowrey at No. 1 singles.

Lorenzo Rollhauser rounded out the lineup for Dayton. Jayaram had perhaps the most exciting set of the day when he battled back down to force a tiebreak against Rogelio Gonzalez and took the tiebreak by a score of 8-6. Look below for full results from today's match:
