JaVonna Layfield averages a double-double with 12.1 points and 12.9 rebounds per game.
SCOUTING MARQUETTE

Leading the way for MU is Allazia Blockton with 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Four other Golden Eagles average double digits scoring, including Erika Davenport, who grabs a team-high 8.3 boards to go with 11.6 points each game.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton suffered a 58-53 loss in the A-10 Semifinals to eventual conference champion George Washington on March 3 in Richmond, Va. The Flyers had four players in double figures, but came up short as they looked to repeat as tournament champions.
Marquette also fell in its conference tournament with a 98-63 defeat to DePaul in the Big East Championship. The Golden Eagles had won the regular season title, but couldn't complete the sweep after allowing the Blue Demons to shoot 51.4 percent in the game.

With a 79-54 win over Fordham on Senior Day on Feb. 18, the Flyers won back-to-back Atlantic 10 titles, clinching at least a share with their 14th conference win. Dayton has now won four regular season titles in the A-10 joining 2013, 2014, and 2017.
