DAYTON, Ohio – After two weekends off, the University of Dayton men's tennis team is back in action this weekend and will host a pair of Big Ten Conference opponents. The Flyers will open the weekend on Friday with a match against Iowa at 11 a.m., and then will host Nebraska on Sunday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night.

Simon Jayaram comprise the three-man senior class this season and have compiled 57 team victories over the course of their four-year careers as Flyers. Those 57 victories are tied for second all-time for a senior class and just two wins shy of the record-setting mark of 59 achieved by the Class of 2005 (Rob Altenau and Jonathan Khoury).

With two wins this weekend, Dayton can also tie the 2002 and 2005 Flyer squads for team wins in a single season with 17. The all-time record is 21 wins during the 1999 season.

ABOUT IOWA (12-10)
- The Hawkeyes are on a three-match winning streak entering Friday, having won two consecutive matches against South Dakota State, and also coming away with a victory against Northwestern, all on April 1
- A win over Iowa would mark the first ever for Dayton, as the Hawkeyes currently hold a 2-0 all-time series lead, including a 6-0 win in the last matchup on April 1, 2016.
- Joe Tyler has accrued the most wins during dual match play, with 14 wins to his name this spring, including six victories at No. 3 singles and seven at No. 4 singles.
- Josh Silverstein has played the majority of Iowa's matches at No. 1 singles and owns a 7-8 record when playing in that spot of the lineup
ABOUT NEBRASKA (9-8)

- The Cornhuskers have lost seven straight matches dating back to March 9, but five of the seven losses have come against ranked opponents.
- Linus Erhart and Toby Boyer started off the season wih records of 10-0 and 7-0 , respectively, with the majority of Boyer's wins coming at the No. 1 spot in the lineup.
- Nebraska has yet to win a road match this season.
