DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing team will be competing in two events this weekend starting with the George Washington Invitational April 6-7 and the Cooper Invitational April 8.

The Flyers will face several Atlantic 10 opponents including George Mason, Rhode Island, and Saint Joseph's at the 30th George Washington Invitational April 6-7 on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. UD will also race against Georgetown.

The largest collegiate rowing competition in the Washington, D.C., metro area, the 30th installment of this annual event will feature a total of 12 teams competing in 46 races over two days.

Below is a schedule of races in which UD will competing:
Friday, April 6
1:40 p.m. – Women's V4+ vs. Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's
2:40 p.m. – Women's JV8+ vs. Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's
3:40 p.m. – Women's V8+ vs. Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's
Saturday, April 7
9:40 a.m. – Women's V4+ vs. George Mason and Georgetown
10:50 a.m. – Women's JV8+ vs. George Mason and Georgetown
11:40 a.m. – Women's V8+ vs. George Mason and Georgetown

Dayton will also get races in at the Cooper Invitational in Pennsauken, N.J. on Sunday, April 8. Teams competing include Bucknell, Canisius, Delaware, Duquesne, Eastern Michigan, Fairfield, Fordham, Marist, and Villanova.

The V4+ will start off the event at 7:30 a.m. and the final race will take place at 10:30 a.m.
