DAYTON āĀ The University of Dayton Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting a talent show/book and school supplies drive this Wednesday, Sept. 12. The drive will be held at the ArtStreet Amphitheater.Ā
The event is open to the public. Admission is a donation of a book (suitable for children 1st-5th grade), school supplies, and/or money to benefit the students at Blairwood Elementary School.Ā
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for pizza and hot dogs. The talent show, featuring UD's student athletes, will begin at 8 p.m. Food is included in admission.Ā
There are 11 UD teams that will perform various talents including dancing or lip syncing.
The following teams will have a performance: baseball, men's basketball, men's cross country, football, men's golf, rowing, women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, softball, and women's track and field.

Vera Gomes, and strength and conditioning coach Jared Phillips will serve as the judges.

Erin Dwyer will be the emcees of the event.
